About this tool

Paste your text, click a case, and it is converted instantly in the same box. If you do not like the result, press Undo to step back. Line breaks are kept, so you can convert a whole list at once.

  • Title Case capitalizes the important words and keeps small words like "and", "of" and "the" lowercase, except at the start or end of a line.
  • Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence and the word "I".
  • camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE split your words (even from existing camelCase) and join them the way developers expect for variable names, file names and URLs.

Style guides disagree on exactly which small words stay lowercase in titles, so treat Title Case as a strong starting point and adjust names and acronyms by hand where needed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Capitalize Each Word?

Title Case follows headline style, so small words such as "and", "of" and "the" stay lowercase unless they are first or last. Capitalize Each Word simply capitalizes the first letter of every word without exceptions.

Does it keep my line breaks?

Yes. Each line is converted separately, so lists, headings and multi-line text keep their structure. Use "Remove line breaks" if you want everything on one line.

Which case should I use for code?

It depends on the language. camelCase is common for JavaScript variables, PascalCase for class names, snake_case for Python and database columns, kebab-case for URLs and CSS classes, and CONSTANT_CASE for constants.

Will it handle accents and non-English letters?

Yes for most alphabets that have upper and lower case, such as Latin, Greek and Cyrillic. Scripts without letter case, such as Chinese or Japanese, are left unchanged.

Is my text stored or sent anywhere?

No. All conversions happen in your browser. Your text is never uploaded or saved.
